The Role

Working from one of our Campus locations around the state, the Digital Support Officer will craft engaging content that promotes inclusivity and ensures that our content remains accessible, appealing, up-to-date, helping shape the future of TasTAFE’s digital landscape.

On any given day, your duties will include:

  • Oversee the daily operations of our website
  • Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure content aligns with organisational goals
  • Design and implement visually appealing, mobile-friendly user experiences
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise
  • Develop SEO strategies, using analytics to optimise search engine rankings.

What will you bring

  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in Information and Communication Technology or Digital Marketing.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively, build strong working relationships and manage your own performance.
  • Proficiency in the configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of a range of digital systems, including intranets and websites.
  • Proficiency in using basic HTML and CSS to update and maintain web content.
  • Strong problem-solving, research and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and offer relevant recommendations.
  • Examining effective approaches for creating digital content with a focus on clear language and adherence to current WCAG accessibility guidelines.

A current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
