The TasTAFE Fixed Term, Sessional and Relief Employment Register lists roles that may become available in various locations statewide for a specified fixed term up to 12 months and on a sessional basis. Please record your details on the register to express your interest.

An existing TasTAFE employee employed under a copied state instrument, or an employee who has been employed at TasTAFE in the past three months, if successful, would be appointed at the relevant classification and salary in the copied state instrument.

A casual loading applies to all casual employment arrangements.

The Role

The role will provide tutorial assistance to individuals and small groups of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students undertaking VET courses.

Requirements

• Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.
• An ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and a knowledge and understanding of contemporary Aboriginal culture and society.
