The Role
Working from our Alanvale Campus in Launceston, we have 2 beds available for superstar tutors, who will aid learners undertaking VET programs in Nursing.
These are flexible part-time roles, 36.75 hours per fortnight however, we may provide 1 full time role for the right candidate.
On any given day, you can see yourself:
Craft and implement tutoring strategies for personalised support and feedback
Support students to apply their learning practically in a live role-play scenario
Collaborate with Teachers to apply Training and Assessment Strategies
Tutor leaners individually or in small groups over various multimodal learning
What will you bring
Passion in the support and training of nurses
The ability to prepare learners for assessments in the simulation labs
Adaptability to learning new and existing technologies and processes.
A background in VET along with top-notch tutoring skills.
A Current Registration as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
This role requires a current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
