A fixed-term employment register is not a vacancy and inclusion on a register does not guarantee any offer of employment will be made. 

The TasTAFE Fixed Term, Sessional and Relief Employment Register lists roles that may become available in various locations statewide for a specified fixed term up to 12 months and on a sessional basis. Please record your details on the register to express your interest.

An existing TasTAFE employee employed under a copied state instrument, or an employee who has been employed at TasTAFE in the past three months, if successful, would be appointed at the relevant classification and salary in the copied state instrument.

A casual loading applies to all casual employment arrangements.

The Role

Undertake a range of client-focused library services and provide technical advice and assistance to staff and students as required. Undertake technical duties including acquisition of library materials, implementation of collection management procedures and bibliographic tasks such as record creation and amendment for library resources. Apply established solutions to procedural and related problems and issues.  Resolve or refer client enquiries.
