The Role
TasTAFE is undertaking a major digital transformation by implementing a new Student Management System (SMS), and we’re looking for an experienced and people-focused Change Management Lead to help guide this journey.
Based at our Hobart campus, this role is crucial to building trust, capability and readiness across the organisation. You’ll be responsible for developing and delivering a comprehensive change management plan that enables staff to understand the purpose of the change and confidently adapt to the new system, working closely with internal teams to ensure the change is sustainable and embraced.
On any given day, your responsibilities will include:
• Developing and executing a practical, people-centred change strategy
• Leading stakeholder engagement and driving change communication
• Supporting the organisation to overcome resistance and build readiness
• Partnering with People, Safety and Culture on organisational impacts
• Reporting change progress and readiness to the Project Director and Steering Committee
What You Will Bring
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including experience influencing across all levels of an organisation
• Demonstrated experience using structured change methodologies
• High emotional intelligence and proven ability to work with a range of engagement styles
• Relevant qualifications in change management or equivalent industry experience
• Proven experience leading successful organisational change in large, complex environments
Desirable
• Current Tasmanian Driver’s Licence as state-wide travel may be required
This is a full-time, fixed-term position from 1 August 2025 to 24 Dec 2026.
A current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
