The Role

This role supports the development of TasTAFE’s greenfields IT environment.

Working from one of our TasTAFE campuses in the state, you’ll report to the IT Infrastructure Consultant, and work hand-in-hand with key stakeholders to turn bold ideas into powerful IT solutions, champion digital transformation across the organisation, and ensure every solution drives TasTAFE’s strategic vision while aligning with IT policies and best practices.

On any given day, your duties will include:

  • Perform configurations and daily operations of TasTAFE’ s digital infrastructure to help keep our ICT systems available and performing
  • Run routine administration of Microsoft 365 applications to ensure seamless communication and collaboration across the organization
  • Offer guidance and advice to greater Digital Services staff, developing the team's technical skills
  • Monitor system performance, action incidents and requests, and generate reports for continuous improvement

What will you bring

  • Experience working with Microsoft technology stack is desirable.
  • Relevant industry-certified training or tertiary qualification in the administration or support of enterprise ICT systems.
  • Demonstrated conceptual and analytical skills, out-of-the-box thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in creating, evaluating and implementing processes and continuous improvement

A current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
