The Role

TasTAFE is seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher – Project Management and Business to join our dynamic teaching team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, nationally accredited training to learners across Tasmania, with a strong focus on both online and face-to-face delivery. Applicants located in Southern Tasmania will be preferred to facilitate in-person teaching in Hobart.

As a TasTAFE teacher, you will share your industry expertise to inspire, guide, and support students to achieve successful outcomes and prepare them for careers in the business and project management sectors.

  • On any given day, your responsibilities will include:
    Deliver training and assessment in accordance with national training package requirements.
  • Engage learners through effective and innovative teaching strategies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support flexible and responsive scheduling.
  • Contribute to course development and continuous improvement processes.
  • Maintain professional and industry currency to ensure relevance in teaching content.

What You Will Bring

  • Practical industry experience in both business and project management.
  • Formal qualifications in Project Management and Business (minimum Cert IV in Project Management & Business).
  • A current TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) or a willingness to work toward it
  • A passion for education and a student-focused approach to delivery.
  • Confidence in delivering content through online platforms, and the ability to deliver face-to-face in various settings.

This is a full-time, fixed-term position from 4 August 2025 to 3 August 2026.

A current Working with Vulnerable People registration, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
