The Role  

Working from our ​Clarence Campus on​ the Eastern Shore of Hobart, the Teacher – Sports Turf Management is required to plan, develop, deliver and assess quality vocational education and training.

Our ideal candidate will be passionate about this industry and provide our learners with the opportunity to thrive in an environment where they will gain the knowledge to implement a plant nutrition program, and how to effectively control weeds, plant pests, diseases and disorders.

The successful applicant will have the experience to confidently set our learners up for success in their chosen career path, whilst focussing on creating a fair playing field both in and out of the classroom environment.

What you will bring 

• Demonstrated experience in sports turf management. 
• A degree, diploma or certificate and industry experience relevant to the Sports Turf field.
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment 
• Knowledge of current industry practices and procedures within the Sports Turf Industry. 

A current Working with Vulnerable People registration is required, or the ability to obtain prior to commencement.
