The Role
Are you a livewire seeking a new career pathway? Would you like to get off the tools and work towards a teaching qualification with TasTAFE? Is it your time to share your electrical knowledge, skills and experience with the next gen of up-and-coming electrical tradespeople.
Working from our Clarence campus, the Electrotechnology Teacher (or Associate Teacher) will spend their working week supporting students on campus and in their workplace as they complete their trade qualification.
This is a 2 year Fixed-Term role, ending December 2027.
On any given day, your duties will include:
TasTAFE understands many Electrical Tradespeople will not possess a Cert IV in Training & Assessment or the Work Skill Instructor Skill Set. We encourage you to submit your application and we will talk to you at interview regarding the relevant pathways to obtain these quals and how we can facilitate this for the successful candidate.
