Fixed Term, Full Time up to 76 hours per fortnight (1.0 FTE).
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Cyber Security professional to join our Cyber Innovation Training Hub located centrally in Hobart.
The Teacher under Supervision role is designed to attract industry competent and current professionals into teaching. It is available as a fixed term appointment for the first year only of an industry professional’s employment with TasTAFE. During the year it is expected that the Teacher under Supervision will attain the essential requirements to be a teacher in TasTAFE as per the Teacher Statement of Duties.
You will be provided on the job training and will be enrolled in the Training and Assessment Qualification (TAE 40116) which you will be required to complete within 12 months. On successful completion of the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment qualification, and satisfactory performance within the role, The Manager of Education and Training will approve your employment status be changed from that of a fixed-term employee to a permanent employee.
An existing TasTAFE employee employed under a copied state instrument, or an employee who has been employed at TasTAFE in the past three months, if successful, would be appointed at the relevant classification and salary in the copied state instrument.
