Permanent, working up to 76 hours per fortnight
There are multiple positions available from this recruitment process at our campuses statewide.
Undertake co-ordination duties, in addition to teaching and assessment duties in a variety of contexts and in line with relevant standards and compliance requirements. The occupant is required to regularly monitor and evaluate practice in order to maintain a focus on continuous improvement. There is also a requirement for the provision of educational leadership, guidance and mentoring to employees in respect of preparation, delivery and assessment, evaluation and other techniques and strategies related to teaching duties.
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Plumbing Industry teacher to join our dynamic Plumbing, Refrigeration and Water Operations Teaching Team.

We provide the opportunity to undertake further training and development. You will be provided with an experienced mentor to help you settle in and assist you in the ongoing development of your teaching delivery skills.
You will bring your teaching qualification, teaching experience and industry expertise and a keen sense of giving back to your trade and passing on your skills and knowledge to our learners.
A requirement of the role is that you must hold a Tasmanian Plumbing Practitioner or Certifier Licence.
To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate in your resume and short (maximum two-page) statement how you meet the capabilities of the role.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor.
OR
TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
AND one of the following:
1. TAEASS502 Design and develop assessment tools or its successor, or
2. TAEASS502A Design and develop assessment tools, or
3. TAEASS502B Design and develop assessment tools.
OR
A diploma or higher level qualification in adult education.
OR
The equivalent of the above – refer to the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015.
