Permanent, working up to 76 hours per fortnight
The Facility Support Officer will provide support to the Senior Facility Officer in the areas of recruitment, fleet vehicle management, registered plant management, testing and tagging and the creation of operational policies and procedures and will assist the team to meet work health and safety provisions. The role will also assist Facility Officers in the coordination of minor works and maintenance.
The role will undertake supervision, auditing and evaluation of contractors and consultants to ensure statutory and contractual compliance.
The occupant will report directly to the Senior Facilities Officer but may also be required to undertake other facilities related tasks as directed by the Facility Services Manager and Manager of Assets and Finance.
An existing TasTAFE employee employed under a copied state instrument, or an employee who has been employed at TasTAFE in the past three months, if successful, would be appointed at the relevant classification and salary in the copied state instrument.
